About us
As a Mum to a child with Autisim and Adhd I understand the struggles of clothing with lables. With that, introducing lable-free clothing for children and adults who are neurodivergent. Experience comfort and freedom from our lable free garments to eliminate potential sensory triggers. With our clothing, you can focus on what truly matters, expolring, learning and expressing yourself and to BEYOU!
Since learning about my son's diagnosis I have tried to learn as much as i can to help, not only my son but also myself. Over the past few years I have completed many courses on ADHD and AUTISIM this has helped me to understand his strenghts and challenges so that I am able to provide him with the correct support he needs.
Having a child, or knowing an individual who is neurodivergent can present unique challenges and experiances. It is important to remember that neurodivergent individuals have different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world.
BEYOU! is not only clothing to help with sensory but its also to help raise awarness. To help and support other parents (please feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk) and also for others who maybe dont understand.
To support a neurodivergent individual,
Create a supportive environment: Establish routines, clear expectations, and consistent structures that can help your child feel safe and secure. Consider sensory needs, such as providing a quiet space or using visual supports.
Foster communication: Encourage open and honest communication with your child. Listen to their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Use clear and concise language, and be patient when they need extra time to process information.
Focus on strengths: Recognize and celebrate your child's unique abilities and talents. Encourage activities that align with their interests and provide opportunities for them to excel and build self-confidence.
Advocate for your child: Be their advocate in various settings, such as school, healthcare, and social situations. Work with professionals to develop individualized plans and accommodations that meet your child's specific needs.
Connect with support networks: Seek out support groups, organizations, or online communities where you can connect with other parents of neurodivergent children. Sharing experiences and advice can be invaluable.
Remember, every child is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. Stay patient, flexible, and open-minded as you navigate this journey with your child, and alway remind them to BEYOU!
